Bergenfield is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, with population of about 27,000. Bergenfield was formed on June 25, 1894, from portions of Englewood Township and Palisades Township at the height of the "boroughitis" phenomenon then sweeping through Bergen County.

Bergenfield is bordering with Teanack, Tenafly, Creskill, Engelwood, Dumont and New Milford. It is minutes away from multiple major shopping centers, and ten minutes away from the George Washington Bridge and New York CIty.
